Job Description

Arthur Lawrence is looking for an Data Engineer one of our clients project based on Remote.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing, transactions) and data lifecycle management (archiving, retention, purge frameworks)
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, validation, and ETL-style processing, along with experience in batch scheduling tools (Control-M)
  • Experience handling large datasets, data integrity, and complex data formats EBCDIC conversions

Nice to have

  • Experience with VLDB, partitioning strategies, and legacy/mainframe data (COBOL copybooks, packed formats)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD for database development, data governance processes, and regulated environments (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)

  • Takes direction from various stakeholders to create test scenarios and be responsible for participating in thorough testing and validation to support the accuracy of data transformations
