The Data Engineer position is full time, based in Athens. Hybrid work model is also provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and developing sophisticated SSIS packages to ensure seamless data flow
  • Architecting complex SQL queries in MSSQL and working across MS SQL Server and Oracle environments
  • Utilizing T-SQL and C# within the SSIS framework to build robust integration solutions
  • Applying data modeling and integration concepts to maintain high-quality data standards
  • Managing the full ETL lifecycle, including the deployment process of SSIS packages
  • Collaborating effectively with a team of architects, developers, and project managers using Agile or Waterfall methodologies

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Greek & English
  • 4+ years of experience in IT, specifically focused on data migration and SSIS implementations
  • A strong understanding of software fundamental principles and communication methods, focusing on how they impact the user experience
  • Professional experience within the banking industry
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
