Job Description:

We're seeking a Data Engineer to take ownership of backend data processes and cloud integrations. This position plays a key role in designing and maintaining data pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure tools to support analytics and reporting across the business. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient movement of data, with a focus on integrating data from an ERP system into SQL and Azure-based environments.

Job Responsibility:

Take ownership of backend data processes and cloud integrations
Design and maintain data pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure tools to support analytics and reporting across the business
Work cross-functionally to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient movement of data
Focus on integrating data from an ERP system into SQL and Azure-based environments

Requirements:

7+ years of experience working with SQL Server, including 5+ years building SSIS packages and leveraging DevOps tools
Deep hands-on knowledge of SSIS features like joins, expressions, variables, error handling, and project deployment
Solid background in writing optimized SQL queries and designing database structures (Star Schema, Snowflake, etc.)
Experience creating pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks
Familiarity with version control in Visual Studio and working within an Integration Services Catalog
Experience ingesting and transforming external data for reporting and insights
Understanding of CI/CD best practices using Azure DevOps
