This infrastructure is designed, operated, and continuously improved by teams of deep technical experts who safeguard reliability, trust, and scale. IT Process and Standards (ITPS), a team within CO+I Core Datacenter Services (CDS), envisions a unified, automated approach to managing IT operations processes and standards across Microsoft’s global datacenter fleet. This ensures the ability to maintain and restore IT capacity efficiently and effectively to meet cloud service availability targets at scale. ITPS defines and evolves processes that underpin datacenter IT operations, including breakfix workflows, service transition, planning and scheduling, and IT service management orchestration. By equipping operations teams with the right tools and procedures, ITPS supports innovation and growth across offerings such as Azure AI, high-performance computing clusters, and mission-critical workloads. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team within ITPS. This role is critical for formulating business problems, exploring and analyzing data, and designing and testing predictive and forecasting models. The Data Engineer will identify opportunities for machine learning and predictive analysis, and communicate effectively to influence data-driven decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and software development, as well as excellent business acumen and collaborative communication skills.
