Job Responsibility:
Create and maintain optimal data pipelines, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT processes from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft technologies and Azure Databricks
Develop analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights aligned with key business performance metrics
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Work closely with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality and innovation within the data systems
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as Data Engineer
Solid experience with Azure Databricks and the Azure cloud platform (DP-203 certification is a strong plus)
Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark, with experience in big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (Spark)
Expertise in Data Warehousing and ETL principles, along with a solid understanding of data modeling
Understanding of Data Governance and data security best practices
Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to align technical insights with business objectives
