The team is expanding and looking for a Databricks Engineer to help build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into actionable insights. Job Responsibility:

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipelines, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT processes from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft technologies and Azure Databricks
  • Develop analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights aligned with key business performance metrics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
  • Work closely with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality and innovation within the data systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as Data Engineer
  • Solid experience with Azure Databricks and the Azure cloud platform (DP-203 certification is a strong plus)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark, with experience in big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (Spark)
  • Expertise in Data Warehousing and ETL principles, along with a solid understanding of data modeling
  • Understanding of Data Governance and data security best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to align technical insights with business objectives
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English
