Seeking a Data Engineer (Google Cloud Platform): Rhino, are you there? At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our Rhinos and our clients.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (preferably GCP)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data tools such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams/Connect, Druid, etc
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with other cloud services such as AWS S3 or Azure Data Factory (plus)
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese(B2)
  • Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal
