Job Description

The project focuses on consolidating existing SMS and email prototypes into a single production-ready solution with a user interface for scheduling, configuration, monitoring, and logging. The solution is being built using Power Apps within the company’s environment, with integrations to Snowflake and existing Python and SQL logic.

Job Responsibility

  • Migrate the existing messaging solution from Python to Power Apps
  • Enhance and optimize the current SMS solution based on the new messaging architecture
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of the solution
  • Implement and support global HDIR file upload functionality
  • Design and develop API endpoints for Generic Customer APIs
  • Communicate directly with the client as the primary point of contact for the project

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Experience with SQL and Snowflake
  • Experience working with high-load systems and data processing optimization
  • Experience with Azure Functions, primarily for building API endpoints and handling data processing
  • Basic understanding of Python scripting
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including encryption, secure data handling, and compliance with industry regulations
  • Experience with Power Apps is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in Agile or iterative delivery teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Collaborate with battery engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, and supplier teams to optimize energy density, cycle life, safety, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency for battery assemblies
  • Integrate supplier input into the development process by conducting supplier technology roadmap reviews and trade-space evaluations specific to cell chemistry (e.g., Si anode roadmaps), pack architecture, and BMS/BMU technologies
  • Drive strategic supply chain direction and innovation with product design and technology operations, focusing on next-generation battery materials, cell formats, and pack integration
  • Utilize expertise in battery manufacturing processes (e.g., electrode coating, calendering, winding/stacking, electrolyte filling, formation, aging, pack assembly, welding, BMS integration, safety testing) to assess supplier capabilities, resolve capacity constraints, and validate cost dependencies
  • Apply analytical problem-solving to SPOR (Supplier Plan of Record) decisions and complex supply chain issues related to battery sourcing, including multi-source strategies and cell qualification trade-offs
  • Lead negotiations for purchase agreements, NRE, capacity reservation, and long-term supply contracts to secure optimal terms and ensure supplier accountability for program deliverables across the battery supply base
  • Champion cost reduction programs utilizing should-cost models, raw material indexing (Li, Co, Ni, graphite), and data analytics tailored to cell and pack manufacturing
  • Create and implement contingency plans for scalability challenges, lead times, single-source dependencies, raw material volatility, and geopolitical risks in the battery supply chain
  • Initiate and execute capacity planning, supplier resourcing, and mass production plans for new products across all lifecycle phases (NPI, MP, sustaining, EOL), with a focus on battery cells and packs
