Job Responsibility:
Design, model, and implement data warehousing activities to deliver the data foundation that drives impact through informed decision making
Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts
Solve challenging data integration problems utilizing optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources
Collect, organize, interpret, and summarize statistical data in order to contribute to the design and development of Meta products
Create and contribute to frameworks that improve the efficacy of logging data, while working with data infrastructure to triage issues and resolve
Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies
Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends
Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to representing key data insights visually in a meaningful way and solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and one year of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
Requires one year of experience in the following skills: Features, design, and use-case scenarios across a big data ecosystem
Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
Object-oriented programming languages and querying languages, such as Python and SQL
Schema design and dimensional data modeling
MapReduce or MPP system
Applied statistics or experimentation, such as A/B testing, in an industry setting
Statistical or mathematical software
Performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
Quantitative analysis techniques, including one of the following: clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics
