We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake. This role is strictly for candidates with hands-on, production-level experience in Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/Data Pipelines on Azure. Profiles without strong Snowflake experience will not be considered.
Job Responsibility:
Design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines in Snowflake
Implement and manage Snowflake architecture (schemas, warehouses, stages, tasks, streams)
Develop advanced SQL-based transformations within Snowflake
Build and orchestrate ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Integrate Snowflake with Azure Databricks / PySpark for large-scale data processing
Perform query optimization, cost optimization, and performance tuning in Snowflake
Implement data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema) specifically on Snowflake
Handle data ingestion (batch & incremental loads) into Snowflake
Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
Requirements:
Strong, hands-on experience in Snowflake (minimum 2–3 years mandatory)
Snowflake architecture & internals
Snowflake SQL
Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks
Strong experience in SQL (complex queries, optimization, tuning)
Proven experience in building ETL/Data Pipelines
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & Data Modeling
BE / B.Tech / MS in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in Snowflake
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Can able to work independently
Nice to have:
Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
Exposure to data governance, security, and access control in Snowflake
Experience in performance & cost optimization in Snowflake environments
