Job Description

We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced Data Consulting Director to join our growing Data & AI practice. NTT DATA partner with leading organisations to turn data into competitive advantage. The role is a hybrid role maintaining a utilization target of 50% with the remaining 50% of your time focused on pre-sales activity to grow the Data practice. You are a trusted advisor with deep expertise in to or three of the following areas, and a solid working knowledge across the others: Data & AI Strategy; Data Operating Models; Data Architecture; Data Governance & Management; Advanced Analytics & AI. You thrive in an environment that embraces collaboration with clients and internal teams to plan and execute projects on time and within budget to realise the value of data as a strategic asset. This role is London based but may involve travel within the UK and Europe and will require flexibility.

  • Combine strategic advisory and thought leadership to build trusted relationships with C-suite and wider client stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7+ years involvement in heavy engineering and manufacturing in its broadest sense
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Currently working in a major Management Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Management Consulting background and proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation
  • 10+ years of experience in data consulting, or a related role
  • Deep understanding of trends in data governance, data platforms, cloud technologies, AI/ML, and analytics
  • Experience of leading and delivering Data & AI projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders, overcoming resistance to change
  • Skilled in identifying Data & AI opportunities, shaping value propositions, and driving growth
  • Track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Keeping pace with the rapidly evolving data and AI technology landscape
  • Experience in data, consulting, analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems
