Project Lumina is a 90‑minute onsite paid research study in which participants will help improve the accuracy and inclusivity of next‑generation smart glasses by completing simple guided activities while wearing the device. This study values true diversity — participants of all ages, skin tones, eye colors, genders, and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Your participation directly supports the development of wearable technology that works for everyone. The study aims to collect high‑quality, diverse data that helps wearable technology perform accurately across different real-world users. Your specific face, eyes, and background play a meaningful role in building more inclusive smart‑glasses systems.

Job Responsibility:

Complete simple guided activities while wearing smart glasses to help improve the accuracy and inclusivity of next‑generation smart glasses

Requirements:

  • Adults 18–65 years old
  • Able to attend one onsite 90‑minute session in Redmond, WA
  • Comfortable wearing smart glasses and following simple activity instructions
  • Must have full head and eye mobility
  • Able to understand and follow spoken English instructions
  • Willing to have professional makeup applied and removed as part of the data collection
  • Must present a valid government‑issued photo ID at check-in
