Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Cloud Developer to join our team and support the expansion of our data ingestion, processing, and retrieval capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform), strong data engineering skills, and the ability to design scalable search and retrieval frameworks. This role will involve enhancing existing data pipelines, integrating new product-related data sources, refining search indexes, and ensuring optimal data relevance and performance.

Requirements

  • 4–9 years of experience as a Data Cloud Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including Data Streams, Data Explorer, Data Model Objects, Calculated Insights, and Data Cloud Indexing
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing frameworks, and JSON/structured datasets
  • Experience designing and managing search indexes, embeddings, and retrievers
  • Strong understanding of data chunking strategies and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Nice to have

  • Experience with LLM-based search, semantic search, vector indexing, or knowledge retrieval systems
  • Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem tools and deployment processes (CI/CD, UAT, Production migrations)
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for data processing
