Job Description

We are looking for a Data Clean Up Specialist to support a manufacturing organization in St. Cloud, Minnesota with improving the accuracy and consistency of critical business records. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed data work, can identify inconsistencies, and takes ownership of resolving record issues with minimal supervision. The position will focus on strengthening data quality across vendor and item records while partnering with internal stakeholders to prepare information for review and approval.

Job Responsibility

  • Audit and refine item master records in NetSuite, including catalog, assembly, and purchased items, as well as related bills of materials, to improve data accuracy
  • Examine vendor profiles for incomplete, outdated, or conflicting details and update records to maintain reliable master data
  • Organize and correct tax-related vendor documentation by confirming exemption status, digitizing paper W-9 forms, and updating tax identification information when needed
  • Identify duplicate or overlapping vendor or account records across multiple operating locations and consolidate them into clean, usable entries
  • Prepare exception reports and clearly documented record summaries so business stakeholders can complete final reviews and approvals efficiently
  • Investigate data discrepancies independently, raise unresolved issues promptly, and ask clarifying questions to ensure accurate outcomes
  • Maintain strong data integrity standards by applying careful validation checks throughout the cleanup process
  • Support project-related administrative and data entry tasks required to complete database cleanup objectives on schedule

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in data cleanup, data entry, administrative support, or related project-based work
  • Prior hands-on experience using NetSuite is required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies, missing information, and duplicate records
  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks effectively, and follow through on issue resolution
  • Confidence in asking questions and escalating concerns when information is unclear or exceptions are identified
  • Experience maintaining vendor files, validating business records, and supporting data integrity initiatives
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and data cleaning practices in a business or operational environment
