Job Description

The Data Centre Technical Architect at NTT DATA is responsible for designing and implementing advanced data centre infrastructures. This role requires expertise in networking technologies, virtualization, and cloud computing. Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement top-notch DATA centre infrastructures
  • Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into efficient and reliable DATA centre solutions as part of our pre-sales process
  • Be responsible for the entire architecture, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, and physical security measures
  • Evaluate and recommend DATA centre services to align with our business needs, ensuring top security and compliance standards
  • Analyse, develop, and recommend long-term plans to ensure our DATA centres meet both current and future requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of collaborative solutions
  • Design and optimize network architectures using technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM
  • Manage client proof-of-concept initiatives
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and specifications
  • Guide members of the Sales team, ensuring they are equipped to close deals and maintain forecasting and sales pipelines
  • Handle scope of work determination, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses

  • Expertise in server and storage technologies such as virtualization, blade servers, SAN, NAS, and DATA backup and recovery systems

  • Extensive experience in a professional technical role within a large-scale, preferably multinational, technology services environment
