This is a 24-week project supporting data center infrastructure installations and decommissioning activities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with the potential for overtime (up to 56 hours per week).
Job Responsibility
Installing and decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure within a data center environment
Pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling
Fusion splicing (single fiber and ribbon fiber)
Installing ladder rack, seismic bracing, and supporting MDF/IDF buildouts
Operating testing equipment such as DSX 5000 and OTDR testers
Reading blueprints, floor plans, and design documentation
Installing, connecting, and decommissioning network equipment
Troubleshooting cabling and connectivity issues while maintaining quality and safety standards
Requirements
Experience in structured cabling, data center environments, copper/fiber installations, and testing/troubleshooting
Experience with LinkWare, OTDR testing, and fusion splicing is highly preferred
