Job Description

This position is responsible for providing direction, guidance, motivation, and development for the Facility Mechanical Department to achieve established production goals consistent with NTT Data's Quality and Safety standards. They will be responsible for the coordination and performance of all electrical related maintenance and operations within assigned areas of responsibility which includes staffing and training.

Job Responsibility

  • Operates and maintains watch over various central plant, Centrifugal Chillers, heating, and building equipment, engine generators, circulating pumps and fans
  • Manages regularly scheduled preventative maintenance according to a pre-determined schedule
  • Manages complex mechanical projects
  • May maintain documentation such as power diagrams, network diagram and physical space usage.
  • Promote, support, and enforce NTT Data standards as they apply to the Facility Maintenance department
  • Control and administer all activities in the Facility Maintenance department
  • Responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, tooling and plant facilities

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in critical facilities operations
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
  • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to read, interpret, utilize and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuit
  • Technical aptitude
  • Knowledge of local codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Conflict management skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized - able to multi-task
  • Computer skills: - MS Word, Excel, Outlook, general software navigation
  • Extensive commercial HVAC knowledge (Centrifugal knowledge required)
  • Moderate commercial plumbing knowledge (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Working knowledge of HVACR controls and sequence of operation.
  • Understand schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, and blueprints.
  • Good concepts of servicing both new and older equipment (if required)
  • A willingness to learn new ideas, methods and perspectives
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
