Job Responsibility

  • Keep Adana Technology Center up and running 7/24 basis, and ensure continuity of operation
  • Conclude internal and external customer requests in a timely and complete manner within the framework of roles and responsibilities
  • Operate Adana Technology Center in an energy efficient and sustainable manner
  • Apply Technical Infrastructure Maintenance and Operations Processes and defined actions via operation maintenance Subcontractor according to SLA KPIs. (L2 level operation)
  • Apply layout allocations for Network/IT Equipment at Technology Center
  • Make periodical system checks and test of all infrastructure equipment, support independent audits
  • Fulfil commissioning and integration of new energy systems and cooling equipment
  • Update & report electrical infrastructure layouts and drawings of Technology Center
  • Warn and inform planning team in case of any capacity shortage and performance degradation at infrastructure equipment in details
  • Follow up daily status of all infrastructure equipment in relation with Telecom and IT equipment
  • Prepare weekly progress reports, energy equipment reports, report weekly performance of each system
  • Assure the quality of installation and works to be as required in the specifications and to be completed on schedule at Technology Center
  • Operate Technology Center environment without service outage
  • Communicate closely and frequently with Internal/External Customer periodically at his/her Technology Center, support and organize Customer activities after sales, supervise/accompany potential customer visits (English/Turkish)
  • Monitor all alarms from infrastructure systems (7/24 basis)
  • Take all essential preventive actions before fault occurrence
  • Apply immediate corrective action in order to restore the system
  • Supervise trouble shooting to be done by related vendor via MSP
  • Present technical introduction of Adana Technology Centre (English/Turkish)
  • Provide technical data to tender documents
  • Work in compliance with health & safety rules and policies, and to identify risks related to the works/job, prevent/stop any unsafe works or acts, report all accidents and occupational health problems of own, staff, team members or contractors, to HSE&W department, attend and ensure staff attends to relevant H&S trainings
  • Responsible for noting and reporting any deviations from the VTAS’s security policy and report all suspected security and/or policy breaches to VTAS FRS Management

Requirements

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
  • Good Knowledge and experience on Energy infrastructure and power systems, high-capacity Air Conditioners systems, cabling and layout planning of Technology Center
  • Customer oriented, result oriented, emphatic, good relationship with customers, customer satisfaction oriented
  • Team work, innovative, adaptable, Flexible working (night-weekends-7/24 shift)
  • Min 5 years similar experience
  • Very Good English (at least Upper intermediate level)
  • Mainly GSM/IT environment experience
  • Experience at Telecom Operator or Mission Critical building
