Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3+ years of project management experience
3+ years in mechanical installation, building automation, electrical installation, or construction
3+ years’ experience with water- or air-cooled chillers
3+ years of Commercial HVAC expertise, including centrifugal chillers, CDU systems, and airside equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and complex MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) documents
Travel Requirement: Up to 75%, with extended stays at data center job sites nationwide

Job Responsibility

Lead startup, commissioning, and warranty processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met
Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project success
Conduct work in progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules
Ensure all projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals
Work with project coordination to order and track all chiller parts needing to be ordered for warranty execution
Collaborate with sales, prime contractors, and end-users to fulfill project scope and deliverables
Serve as the primary liaison representing Carrier between the customer, commissioning authority (CxA), general contractor, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and project progression
Provide professional, timely resolution for customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction with all aspects of project execution
Interpret and apply mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction administration or project support role, preferably in data center or large-scale infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience working with project documentation, financial systems, subcontractor coordination, and compliance tracking

Job Responsibility

Coordinate day-to-day project administration tasks in support of the field team and office supply coordination for the T5 team on the jobsite
Serve as a key liaison between the construction site team and corporate departments, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of administrative deliverables
Maintain and update both digital and manual project records related to contracts, permits, compliance documents, and internal approvals from an off-site location
Experience establishing standardized processes and systems to support multi-site construction portfolios or enterprise-level project teams
Ability to design and implement administrative and operational workflows for construction project support, including documentation standards, invoice review cycles, compliance tracking, and subcontractor onboarding protocols
Manage the lifecycle of all construction project documents, including subcontractor invoices (as necessary), pay applications, lien waivers, insurance certificates, and performance bonds
Create and maintain standardized templates to ensure consistent, high-quality documentation across all aspects of the project, such as meeting minutes, close-out materials, compliance logs, and insurance tracking
Provide remote document control support to ensure timely review, filing, and access by field teams and stakeholders

Monitor change orders with stakeholders and monitor resolutions to prevent delays and mitigate financial risk
Monitor construction progress and prepare regular executive level updates on key metrics, schedule forecasts, constraints/issues, risks, etc. for internal and client stakeholders
Collaborate with the T5 Commissioning Lead on commissioning and integrated testing efforts that will verify system performance prior to handoff
Deliver constructability input on electrical and mechanical designs for the assigned campus to ensure cost effective, buildable solutions
