Job Description:

The Data Business Partner will work with key stakeholders across Optimizely, covering all aspects of good Data Management. They will apply their experience to define and document; data policies, key business terms, data lineage, optimise processes, ensure data is of high-quality and available to the right people at the right time. They will work with Data Owners and SMEs to understand the level of quality required for data to be deemed 'fit for purpose', agree appropriate metrics and create reporting to track progress.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working with data owners & SMEs to create data quality rules, benchmarking and tracking of data metrics
  • Agree and document key business terms
  • Set up processes that enable accurate inventory of data and its lineage
  • Defines Data Governance 'playbooks' and tracks adherence
  • Collaborates with teams to build data models and advise on any data capture requirements
  • Support the Data Services Team and the VP of Data Services to build out appropriate project plans and roadmaps
  • Assisting the Data Services Team with the build of crucial reporting and associated metrics
  • Works with InfoSec and Compliance teams to enable the right access to the right data
  • Highlights data risks appropriately and works with owners on mitigating actions
  • Creating and leading a network of Data Champions
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate data maintenance
  • Foster a data-driven culture of quality and accountability
