Job Description

We are seeking a Data & Asset Inventory Solution Owner to oversee the vision, strategy and end-to-end architecture for our Data & Digital/IT Asset Inventory capabilities. The individual will be responsible for defining the roadmap, shaping the enterprise-level data model, ensuring governance, and driving adoption across the IT4IT ecosystem. This hybrid Bucharest-based role involves integrating services and assets into a trusted inventory, enhancing visibility and enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the vision, strategy, architecture blueprint and roadmap for the Data & Asset Inventory solution
  • Define and govern the data model, standards and quality controls required to maintain a reliable, decision-grade inventory
  • Lead platform governance activities including technology choices, architectural decisions and compliance with security and operational standards
  • Drive integration and onboarding across the IT4IT toolchain, enabling consistent and self-service consumption of inventory data
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, product teams and wider stakeholders to prioritise features based on business value
  • Reduce technical debt through continuous improvement and structured platform evolution
  • Expand adoption of the Asset Inventory and IT4IT Data Lake ecosystem to enhance visibility and enable improved decision-making

Requirements

  • Experienced as a Solution Owner, Product Owner, Platform Owner or Solution Architect within inventory, CMDB, service management or enterprise data platforms
  • Strong understanding of governance practices, architectural standards and operating under enterprise design authority frameworks
  • Practical knowledge of asset/service inventory concepts including configuration items, dependencies, lifecycle, reconciliation and reporting
  • Capable of translating business needs into actionable roadmaps, prioritised backlogs and measurable outcomes
  • Skilled in stakeholder alignment, communication and driving adoption across multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have

Advantageous if you bring exposure to CMDB, discovery and reconciliation tooling, familiarity with IT4IT operating models or TOGAF certification
