6-Month Contract; Canberra based; Hybrid (3–4 days per week in a collaborative, desk-sharing office); Australian citizens ONLY; Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance; Randstad Digital (Formerly Finite Recruitment). Job Responsibility

  • Lead the conceptual and logical data modeling for the MSW information model and associated schemas
  • Drive cross-agency engagement to align data elements to international standards (including the IMO Compendium), documenting crosswalks, controlled vocabularies, and transformation business rules
  • Undertake comprehensive data stocktakes of existing agency data sources, documenting lineage, metadata, data dictionaries, and ownership paths
  • Design structured data exchange formats (such as XML) and advise on downstream integration patterns (including event-driven architectures)
  • Build reusable data architectures, establish data quality frameworks, and create realistic project delivery schedules
