We’re looking for a Data Architect to join our team and to work on a set of projects for a leading US food producing company. Our Client is building a centralized enterprise-level data warehouse that consolidates numerous internal and external data sources. This platform serves as the foundation for business-critical dashboards used by the Sales Team, Revenue Teams, and senior Leadership to drive strategic decisions. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Product Owner, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to define data architecture standards and translate business requirements into robust data models using modern tech stack (Snowflake and DBT). This role requires strong leadership, ownership, and deep technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of the projects and support evolving business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Design and own data architecture for a cloud-based data platform built on Snowflake
Define and implement data modelling standards to support business analytics and reporting needs
Lead the design and implementation of ELT pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran
Ensure data quality, consistency, performance, and scalability across the data platform
Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to fully leverage Snowflake capabilities, focusing on performance, scalability
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data Engineers
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Data Architect in complex, enterprise-scale environments
Strong background in Data Engineering, including data modelling and ETL/ELT solution design
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including warehouse design and optimization
Practical experience using dbt and Fivetran (or equivalent tools) to design, build, and manage data pipelines
Advanced SQL skills and solid hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical architectures
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to have:
Experience contributing to or supporting Data Science, advanced analytics, or AI/ML solutions
Experience with reporting and BI development
