Data Architect

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements and support long-term scalability
• Develop and refine data storage solutions in collaboration with infrastructure teams to maximize performance while minimizing operational costs
• Partner with both technical and business units to document data requirements, ensuring the architecture supports both operational and strategic organizational goals
• Support and contribute to enterprise frameworks for data security, classification, privacy, and compliance
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend continuous improvements to data systems to keep the organization at the forefront of the industry
• Provide leadership and set standards for Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and AI Data Scientists to ensure consistency across all data practices
• Document complex data pipelines, maintain data catalogues, and establish clear data lineage for analytics and reporting

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically designing data architecture, with 10+ years of total experience in enterprise data architecture, modelling, or engineering
• Proficiency with tools such as Python, Microsoft Azure, Fivetran, DBT, Knime, and Dataiku
• Possessing or working toward a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) designation is highly preferred
• Strong ability to architect scalable data systems that meet both business and high-level technical requirements
• Excellent ability to translate complex technical data concepts for non-technical audiences and senior leadership
• Ability to work independently and make high-impact decisions regarding enterprise data strategy
