Job Description

The University of Suffolk is seeking an experienced data professional to join a small team responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of statutory and institutional data returns.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of statutory and institutional data returns
  • Working with large and complex datasets
  • Extracting, manipulating and analysing data
  • Identifying issues and trends
  • Communicating findings clearly to teams across the University
  • Supporting process improvement through evidence-based insight

Requirements

  • Confident working with large and complex datasets, using a range of tools to extract, manipulate and analyse data
  • Ability to identify issues and trends, communicate findings clearly to teams across the University
  • Support process improvement through evidence-based insight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve shared goals
  • Experience using tools such as SQL Server for scripting and Excel for data analysis is essential
  • High level of accuracy, strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

Experience within the higher education sector, particularly in relation to statutory data returns

  • Partner closely with clients, account teams, and media teams to assess business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Lead execution and oversight of marketing mix modeling, diminishing returns analysis, incrementality testing, and campaign measurement strategy
  • Manage team workload allocation, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and advancement within analytics frameworks and reporting capabilities
