Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Data & BI Engineer to join our data-driven team. This role combines responsibilities across data engineering, ETL development, business intelligence and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, BI tools, cloud platforms, Python, and Snowflake, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support analytics and business decision-making. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our data systems and solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources (Structured and Unstructured)
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal and external data sources and APIs
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata for analytical and operational use
  • Implement data validation, testing, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data integrity
  • Work with orchestration tools for workflow automation and monitoring data pipeline operation
  • Design and develop user-friendly and intuitive visualizations/dashboards to communicate insights effectively using Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI and ETL processes to ensure performance and reliability
  • Provide insights through data visualization and performance metrics
  • Work with cloud platforms such as Azure for data storage and processing
  • Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing, Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control using tools like Git or Azure DevOps
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL tools, and BI/analytic tools
  • 2+ years of Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Streams, Stored Procedures and various AI and ML features
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, management systems, and data modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud databases
  • Familiarity with cloud technology
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field
  • Must be a US Citizen
