Job Responsibility

  • Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries daily using PrestoSQL/Spark to transform raw data into reliable reporting datasets
  • Build and maintain backend data pipelines and processes that feed operational dashboards
  • Perform data quality control and validation to ensure accuracy across reporting systems
  • Refactor and improve existing queries for performance and maintainability
  • Conduct data wrangling and schema analysis to understand data structure and relationships
  • Deep dive into operational data to understand support workflows, become a subject matter expert, and identify data gaps or quality issues
  • Perform ad hoc SQL-based analyses to investigate performance anomalies and operational blockers
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into technical data requirements
  • Build and maintain data products that provide frontend access to your SQL-generated datasets

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in analytics
  • Strong analytics, SQL, and web query skills
  • Experience within Python or R and visualization tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
