Job Description:

The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth knowledge to improve processes and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives. The candidate is expected to use analytical skills to address business problems, lead projects, and influence decision-making processes. This role also involves strategic analysis, system change management, and communication between business leaders and IT.

Job Responsibility:

Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and work-flows
coordinates and contributes to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business
assumes informal/formal leadership role through coaching and training of new recruits
significantly influences decisions and performance of teams through advice and counsel
conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and makes strategic recommendations
mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization
delivers analytics initiatives to address business problems
consults with business clients to identify system functional specifications
leads system change process from requirements through implementation
formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex projects
impacts the business directly by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others
considers the business implications of technology application
drives communication between business leaders and IT

Requirements:

5-8 years experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
