Job Description:

The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of improvements in processes, and leveraging expertise in the area of data analytics to drive business objectives. This role involves strategic data analysis, system specifications consulting, and leading system changes for data initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flows
coordinates and contributes to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business
assumes informal/formal leadership role through coaching and training of new recruits
significantly influences decisions, work, and performance of all teams through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services
conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications, and makes strategic recommendations
develops data displays to communicate complex analysis
mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality
delivers analytics initiatives to address business problems
consults with business clients to identify system functional specifications
consults with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems
leads system change process from requirements through implementation

Requirements:

5-8 years relevant experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
minimum 2 years of experience on designing / developing Data Pipelines for Data Ingestion or Transformation using Java or Scala or Python
minimum 2 years of designing / developing applications with Monitoring, Build Tools, Version Control, Change Management to support DevOps pipelines
4+ years of experience in creating Test Automation frameworks and tools to support Automated large scale Test Execution
minimum 2 years of experience with Spark programming (Pyspark or scala or java)
minimum 2 years of experience with SQL and Shell Scripting experience
extremely proficient in Data analysis and profiling, Data quality monitoring rules and Data quality issues resolution
familiarity with machine learning implementation using PySpark
