Your Next Opportunity Campbell Property Group (CPG), one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies, is growing. We are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Manager to join our team at our Norwest Head Office. A newly created opportunity, you will be leading CPG’s data and analytics function, turning data into reliable, governed and accessible information that enables better decisions across the Group. What you will do? The role is accountable for data management and governance, business intelligence, advanced analytics, data engineering, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. It owns the design, deployment and management of AI agents and automation across CPG business processes, and the data foundations that make them possible. As a hands-on player-coach leading a small but growing team, the manager both sets direction and contributes directly to delivery by building data models, pipelines, analytics and AI solutions alongside the team while developing their capability. The role partners closely with the CIO, Solution Architect, application and infrastructure teams, and business leaders to ensure data is treated as a strategic asset and that analytics and AI deliver measurable business value

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading a data and analytics function or team (construction or property industry highly desirable)
  • 5–10 years’ experience across data management, business intelligence, analytics and data engineering
  • Proven delivery of analytics, data platform and/or AI initiatives that produced measurable business value
  • Experience establishing data governance, quality and ethical-use practices
  • Experience as a hands-on technical leader and people manager (player-coach)
  • Strong knowledge of data management, governance and master data management practices
  • Business intelligence, analytics and data visualisation methods and tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Data engineering, pipelines/ETL, data modelling and warehousing concepts
  • Cloud data platform strategy and delivery (e.g. Azure or AWS) spanning data storage, pipelines, analytics and AI services
  • Microsoft SQL Server is a core requirement
  • strong SQL and relational database skills
  • Machine learning, AI agents and automation concepts and their responsible application
  • Data privacy, security and AI/data ethics principles and obligations
  • Awareness of consuming vendor APIs and database extracts for data acquisition
