Job Description:

Data & Analytics Manager position in IKEA Supply and Supply Chain Development organization, responsible for leveraging new technology development including AI to increase efficiency in making data and insights available across IKEA. The role focuses on creating value by bringing data, competence and tools together to deliver cutting edge, data driven solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead analytics organization with teams in Data Engineering, Data & Information Modelling, Data Science, and Data Products & Sharing
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making is enabled for leadership at all levels
  • Establish common views across IKEA about the value of data and analytics
  • Lead high-performing team through transformational analytics journeys
  • Work in close collaboration with peers across IKEA, Capability Managers, Digital Product Area Managers
  • Secure alignment on roadmaps to move data and analytics agenda forward
  • Responsible for full competence and resourcing within function
  • Manage cost and budget
  • Use resources optimally to secure business goals

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent
  • Proven leadership experience with diverse teams, ideally within data & analytics
  • Good understanding of AI and machine learning and its potential in Data & Analytics
  • Leadership style encourages collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and adoption of data-driven ways of working
  • Proven ability to lead in change, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to grasp technical concepts from subject matter experts and convey them to decision makers
  • Experienced in vendor and contract management, and leading teams with mix of internal and external resources
  • Positive attitude, self-going, persistent and motivated by taking on complex challenges
  • Familiar with analytical tools, languages and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Synapse, Fabric, or similar

Nice to have:

  • Experience of global supply chain operations
  • Experience with different delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with IKEA's culture and values
  • Knowledge of IKEA's value chain and operating model
