Data Analytics Lead Analyst

• define a sourcing strategy, collect and analyze large datasets from an identified data source to host and deliver data to business teams
• design and implement dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau
• partner with business stakeholders, and occasionally senior management, to define metrics, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for growth or optimization
• develop and maintain SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and data models to support reporting needs
• communicate data findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, technology engineering and product teams to support data-driven initiatives
• identify data-quality issues and contribute to data governance and standardization efforts
• resolve occasionally complex and highly variable issues
• produce detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended or taken
• build content related to the data projects and work with the SharePoint administrator to deliver the content on the SharePoint

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in a data sourcing, reporting and/or governance role
• solid experience in the banking sector and understanding of Citi’s businesses
• good command of SQL and Python and data models
• experience in Tableau would be an advantage
• good command of Excel and PowerPoint
• ability to present technical data and concepts to a non-technical audience
• developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
