Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location. Duties include developing, implementing, and maintaining leading-edge analytics systems, evaluating organizational methods, creating best-practice reports, supporting large-scale projects, overseeing multiple complex streams in Agile mode, defining and developing network infrastructure solutions, and more.

Job Responsibility:

Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics systems taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for datasets
Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
Support the delivery of large-scale projects to assist Citi in leveraging business benefits by consolidating requirements from business users and designing and developing code as per business requirements
Responsible for multiple complex streams running together in Agile mode including development of Java API services in OpenShift cloud platform, integration with Kafka streaming services, and data migration activities
Responsible for decisions on architecture, review changes, plans for system integration testing, and cut over activities
Translate business use case requirements into analytical requirements and use problem solving frameworks to define methodologies, analytical techniques, data requirements, and implementation considerations
Define and develop network infrastructure solutions to enable partners and clients to scale machine learning data models, Big Data, NoSQL, and relational database architecture for growing demand and traffic
Identify technical risks and planned contingency / mitigation actions
Implement validation frameworks and output encoding in all modules
Develop testing programs that address areas such as negative testing, software scenarios, regression testing, database impacts, error, and bug retests
Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
Develop and code industry specific solutions using technologies Java/J2EE, JSON, XML, JavaScript, Unix, IBM MDM, Tibco & Cloud technologies PCF and OpenShift
Solution architect by analyzing business needs, identifies tech solutions, and designs a comprehensive plan for implementation
Migration of legacy tech stacks into cloud-based platforms to simplify the application architecture

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a related field
Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing data analytics activities within the information technology or financial services industry
Developing REST/RESTful Java APIs and creating Postman collections that employ APIs including pre and post request scripts to automate Application Programming Interface capabilities
Developing business rules using transformation techniques including expression, aggregate, unconnected and connected lookup, and update strategy
Developing TIBCO Business works applications, integrating business workflows, and creating and configuring queues, bridges, and connection factories in Enterprise Messages Service
Working with product processor providers to source data in real-time transactions, batch feed files and inject data into High Performance Data Stores for multiple application use cases
Overseeing multiple complex streams in Agile mode including Core Development, Integration, and Data Migration
Creating code specifications based on requirements, building, and managing simplified frameworks for financial systems using Java Spring Boot Framework
Performing query optimization, debugging, and tuning for financial systems using SQL Tuning Advisor via SQL Developer and analyzing data objects across shared schemas for deriving key data insights, application monitoring and service availability using AppDynamics
