Job Description

Bureau Veritas is expanding its digital capabilities to streamline environmental reporting and strengthen Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) data analytics. We are looking for a Data Analytics Intern who can leverage Tableau/Power BI to create insightful and automated dashboards. You will work closely with sustainability specialists, H&S analysts, and AI scientists to transform raw data into actionable insights and compliance reports at Asia Pacific level.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop and deploy automation workflows for environmental reporting (e.g., emissions, waste, water use) and H&S data collection, using Python, R, or low-code AI platforms
  • Create data analytics pipelines (ETL, data validation, KPI dashboards) that ingest, clean, and visualise HSE metrics (incident logs, exposure data, audit results) using Tableau/Power BI
  • Document solutions (architecture diagrams, code repositories, user guides) and deliver presentations to stakeholders for decision-making
  • Stay current on emerging AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and data analytics trends and propose pilot projects that add value to the reporting ecosystem

Requirements

  • Able to commit at least 3 months full time internship
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in AI, particularly generative AI
  • Proficient in programming e.g. Python
  • Proficient in using Tableau/Power BI to build dashboards and generate actionable insights from datasets
  • Capable of working independently as well as in teams
  • Excellent communications skills in presenting and writing
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Background in software engineering is preferred
