Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer – Data & Analytics Developer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, APIs, and data analytics/reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building APIs, and delivering actionable insights through analytics and reporting. This role requires a strong mix of technical development and analytical skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop efficient SQL queries and database solutions for data retrieval and transformation
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data integration
  • Develop data processing and automation scripts using Python
  • Handle structured and semi-structured data formats such as JSON and XML
  • Develop and support reporting and analytics solutions for business users
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize performance for queries, APIs, and reporting systems
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness CD
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, APIs, and analytics solutions

Requirements

  • Strong experience in SQL (complex queries, joins, performance tuning)
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing APIs
  • Experience working with JSON and XML data formats
  • Experience in reporting and analytics development
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to have

  • Experience with Harness CD for CI/CD automation
  • Knowledge of data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with ETL/data integration processes
