We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data management and reporting efforts for a long-term contract opportunity in Eagan, Minnesota. Job Responsibility
Analyze datasets to identify trends, exceptions, and meaningful patterns that support business decision-making
Build, maintain, and update Microsoft Access databases to ensure information remains accurate, organized, and accessible
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports by extracting, validating, and summarizing data from multiple sources
Review data for inconsistencies or missing details and resolve issues through careful research and verification
Partner with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver clear, usable data outputs
Improve data tracking methods and recommend practical ways to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
Document database structures, reporting logic, and data handling procedures to support consistency and continuity
Requirements
Hands-on experience in data analysis with the ability to interpret and organize complex information
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including database maintenance, queries, and report generation
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with large volumes of data
Ability to create clear reports and communicate findings in a straightforward, business-friendly manner
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and recommend solutions
Comfortable managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a contract environment
