Job Description:

A global manufacturing company in the Torrance area is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their team. This is a permanent, on-site opportunity to turn raw data into meaningful business insights that support operations and growth.

Job Responsibility:

Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
Use SQL to query databases and extract meaningful datasets
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, variances, and KPIs
Build dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau
Present clear, data-driven insights to business stakeholders
Document business and data requirements for reporting and analytics projects
Conduct A/B testing and other methods to evaluate the impact of initiatives
Support claim administration and process improvement efforts

Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation
Strong Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel and Atlassian Jira
Experience with CRM systems and business process documentation
Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, data visualization methods, and A/B testing
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and business requirement documentation
Ability to perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements
Effective communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Background in claim administration or related business functions is a plus
