Job Description:

A great opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst working within our Data+Insight team. This is a key role that will help us develop our data culture and capabilities, drive organisational performance and impact, and support other teams in delivering on our mission. Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify, collect, collate, analyse, and interpret data relevant to the activities and strategic aims of the organisation
  • Deliver accurate, reliable, relevant, and timely insights
  • Contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s data strategy
  • Deliver on strategic initiatives to enhance the organisation's data maturity and building a good data culture
  • Help develop our data culture and capabilities
  • Drive organisational performance and impact
  • Support other teams in delivering on our mission

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Strong in data analysis and manipulation
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
  • Solid data visualisation skills with the ability to create easily digestible representations of analytical findings using relevant tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric would also be advantageous
