We are looking for a meticulous Data Analyst to support a Long-term Contract assignment based in Old Hickory, Tennessee. In this role, you will help improve the quality, accuracy, and usability of finance-related data while contributing to a collaborative, remote project environment. Job Responsibility
Review and refine large volumes of financial and operational data to improve consistency, completeness, and overall accuracy.
Contribute to data conversion efforts involving the movement of information from Oracle Hyperion into Tagetik, ensuring records are prepared and validated for use.
Examine datasets to uncover duplicate entries, missing values, mismatches, and other integrity concerns, then help resolve identified issues.
Support annual data rollforward activities by carrying historical information forward and confirming that records remain aligned across reporting periods.
Use advanced Excel functions to reconcile files, organize data, verify results, and prepare clear outputs for analysis and reporting.
Partner with finance, accounting, and technical contributors to clarify data needs, address exceptions, and maintain progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with data mapping, test preparation, reconciliation reviews, and validation steps tied to migration-related workstreams.
Produce and update project documentation covering data standards, validation results, issue tracking, and reporting expectations.
Share key observations, potential risks, and recommended actions with stakeholders to support informed project decisions.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in a data-focused or analytical position such as Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or a related role.
Hands-on background supporting data quality, validation, cleansing, or migration initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, filtering, reconciliation, and report preparation.
Experience working with accounting, financial, budgeting, forecasting, or reporting data.
Strong analytical judgment with a careful approach to identifying and correcting inconsistencies in data.
Effective problem-solving, organization, and communication skills in a project-driven environment.
Ability to work independently and remain productive in a fully remote contract role.

Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion, Tagetik, or other financial planning and consolidation platforms is preferred.
