Job Description:

This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who excels at transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and actionable reports. The role involves leveraging technical expertise to support decision-making and drive business improvements through advanced analytics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from diverse sources to provide actionable insights for business decisions
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, automated reports, and interactive visualizations
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and manage large datasets effectively
  • Utilize Python for data cleaning, automation, and performing advanced analytics
  • Conduct rigorous data validation, quality assurance checks, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy
  • Create scheduled and on-demand reports tailored to the needs of cross-functional teams
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for business growth
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting strategies
  • Provide recommendations to improve data processes and enhance overall reporting efficiency

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL, including expertise in joins, aggregations, and complex data transformations
  • Hands-on experience with Python, particularly using libraries like Pandas for data manipulation
  • Strong skills in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
  • Proven ability to perform data validation, quality assurance, and ensure accuracy across reports
  • Experience in creating detailed data visualizations and dashboards that support decision-making
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
