Job Description

Currently looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join an established organisation with a growing BI function. You will engage with a stakeholders across the organisation to develop and maintain SQL and SSRS reports, support Power BI dashboards and enable decision-making across the business. Ultimately, making data a key enabler for both operational decisions and customer-facing insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain reports using SQL, SSRS and Power BI
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting across multiple business functions
  • Support business strategy to build a modern data warehouse and analytics platform
  • Engage directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Translate business queries into clear reporting requirements and outputs
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability and consistency in customer facing reports
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and reporting methods
  • Support the rationalisation of existing reports and data entities as we transition to the new BI platform
  • Provide guidance and support colleagues and BI Lead in shaping data management and reporting processes

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills - comfortable writing complex queries and optimising performance
  • Experience using SSRS for report development
  • Strong Excel capability
  • Comfortable speaking with stakeholders across the organisation
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset
  • Ability to work independently with limited training support
