Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team and help turn data into meaningful insight that supports effective decision-making and improved outcomes for our services and communities in Adult Social Care (on a fixed term 12-month contract).

Job Responsibility:

  • working closely with internal stakeholders, service managers, commissioners and partners
  • producing high‑quality analytical outputs and performance information
  • ensuring data quality
  • supporting statutory reporting
  • promoting the effective use of evidence across the Council

Requirements:

  • advanced IT skills, including databases, advanced spreadsheets to include PowerQuery
  • awareness of emerging business analytics tools
  • strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
  • project management skills
  • experience of PowerBi or other relevant visualisation tools (desirable)
  • an understanding of Adult Social Care (desirable)
