We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role focuses on transforming raw information into clear reporting, actionable insights, and reliable dashboards for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple data sources and uses analytical tools to improve visibility into performance and trends.
Job Responsibility:
Gather, organize, and interpret data from a variety of sources to identify patterns, exceptions, and business opportunities
Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI and Tableau to present findings in a clear and meaningful way
Develop and maintain data integration workflows with SSIS to ensure timely and accurate movement of information between systems
Analyze operational and business metrics, then translate results into practical recommendations for stakeholders
Validate data quality by reviewing datasets for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before reporting is delivered
Partner with technical and business teams to define reporting needs and produce solutions aligned with organizational goals
Use Microsoft Excel to perform ad hoc analysis, reconciliations, and detailed data reviews when needed
Document reporting logic, data definitions, and analytical processes to support consistency and ongoing improvements
Requirements:
Experience performing data analysis in a business or technical environment
Proficiency with Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization
Working knowledge of Tableau to build and maintain interactive reports
Hands-on experience with SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading activities
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets
Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with database concepts and structured data management practices
