Job Description:

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Insights team, within Platform Enablement to help us deliver operational insights about our business, Mews Fintech and bring value to our customers. You will be a part of a team responsible for building self-serve Looker reporting, developing data pipelines and transformations, conducting ad-hoc data analysis in Databricks and helping the business interpret their data into actionable insights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with Fintech product teams to build amazing payments products & features
  • Set up measures and KPIs to monitor the success of the product and new releases
  • Prepare ad-hoc data analysis using SQL and/or Python
  • Design data models and support managing ETL pipelines using dbt
  • Collaborate on company data infrastructure and reporting improvements with other data analysts and data engineers
  • Analyze, and identify opportunities to improve processes and effectively communicate with related stakeholders

Requirements:

  • High level of proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with building BI reports in tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
  • Basic understanding of cloud data solutions preferably Azure platform
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written and verbal English

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting finance, fintech, or payment systems is especially useful
  • Some experience with data analysis in Python/R/Scala and data transformation using dbt is a plus
