We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Data & AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing data, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Data Analytics and Insight Generation: Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
Reporting and Dashboard Development: Build and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using PowerBI
Data Modeling and Database Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of database design, data modeling principles, and SQL to structure data effectively
Process Optimisation and Automation: Identify manual processes and propose data-driven automation solutions
Forecasting and Resource Planning: Analyse historical performance data to support workforce and capacity planning efforts
ETL Process Design and Optimisation: Collaborate with data engineers or independently design efficient ETL processes
Ad Hoc Analysis and Decision Support: Perform on-demand analysis to support urgent business questions or evolving needs
Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirement Gathering: Work with diverse business teams to understand analytical needs
Project Leadership: Lead BI projects from conception to completion
Data Quality and Integration Support: Monitor data integrity across systems
Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to align analytical outputs with business objectives
Continuous Learning and Data Innovation: Stay current with trends in data analytics, tooling, and best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience (3-5 years) in data analytics, process-oriented or a similar role
Proficiency in PowerBI (dashboards and extensive DAX experience), SQL, excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Working knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business strategies, market trends, and how data can be leveraged to optimise outcomes
Customer centricity: Ability to analyse data to improve customer satisfaction and create seamless customer experience
Familiarity with data lakes, data warehouses and cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
Collaboration & Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical audiences and leadership team
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
