We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Data Analystto join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on developing and implementing tools to support various aspects of the supply chain, with a strong emphasis on planning, visualization and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, a passion for supply chain optimization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights with expertise in Microsoft Excel, particularly in VBA, and additional proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R.
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrate mastery in Microsoft Excel, utilizing VBA to streamline and enhance planning processes and tools
Assist in developing workarounds to the current planning system to improve transparency, planning efficiency, and cost-to-serve metrics through agile, iterative processes alongside subject matter experts and experienced business planners
Handle large datasets with ease, conducting advanced data analysis to identify business requirements and opportunities
Build and maintain tools to support supply chain planning processes, utilizing statistical models, algorithms, and machine learning where applicable
Ensure the development of robust and sustainable solutions that stand up to evolving business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the supply chain
Influence critical decisions and business processes through the development and implementation of meaningful business insights
Design and create visualizations to communicate complex data sets in a clear and meaningful way
Maintain optimizer costs and priority’s structure to ensure the most optimal planning outcomes
Be a holder of optimizer costs and ensure timely management of the settings for phase in and phase out product or product groups to ensure smooth weekly and monthly processes
Support versioning and scenario builds with different costs/priority modelling and steer the optimizer
Act as key user for optimizer settings, support end users with planning outcomes
Understand ins and outs of optimizer to help to drive through optimizer modelling the planning strategy
Periodically assess the inventory model bottom up and top down and reconcile with the business ambition
Hold the modelling strategies of finished goods and reconcile the strategy with metal planning to get the full end-to-end benefit
Support the monthly/quarterly/yearly process with factual analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ Years proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist with a focus on supply chain processes
SAP IBP Experience
Expertise in Microsoft Excel with VBA, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R
Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and processes
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Continuous learner with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends
