Randstad is currently working with an exciting client to find a Data Analyst / Research Analyst (UX). This is an initial part-time role (3 days per week) with potential to become a full time role. Client: Insurance Company Role: Data Analyst / Research Analyst (UX) Location: Toowong, Brisbane CBD with free onsite parking and WFH flexibility Work Basis: Part Time (3 days per week) with potential to become Full Time Role Overview: As a key member of a delivery team, the Data / Research Analyst will work closely with the UX/UI Designers, Digital Delivery stakeholders and other data specialists to provide key insights into the customer experience within the digital area of interest. You’ll be part of a team of delivery specialists creating the best digital experiences for customers.
Job Responsibility
Conduct comprehensive UX research on a diverse range of digital customer experience challenges, with particular emphasis on quantitative methodologies including surveys, analytics, A/B testing, and statistical analysis
Apply advanced analytical techniques to evaluate complex information from large-scale datasets, identifying critical patterns, trends, and influencing factors that impact user behaviour and experience
Develop and execute effective research strategies and solutions, adapting existing methodologies to new contexts and devising approaches even when faced with limited initial information
Manage and execute research initiatives from inception to insight delivery with significant autonomy, applying statistical methods and quantitative analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex, high-volume datasets
Translate complex research findings and their implications into clear, compelling narratives, effectively communicating actionable insights to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and those unfamiliar with UX principles
Utilise expert judgement, critical evaluation, and insightful interpretation to guide decision-making and recommend optimal courses of action for enhancing user experience
Collaborate with other departments to help communicate the value of being a 'customer led' business and how it influences, Employee, Business and Customer outcomes
Ensure consistency of digital customer approach across all products and online journeys
Maintain awareness, understanding and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including the on-time completion of mandatory training
Requirements
Ideally experience with SQL (or similar) and experience with Data Visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance the drive for improvement with recognition of stakeholder needs and external regulators
Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
Experience using analytical tools to investigate and analyse user data
Demonstrable comprehensive knowledge and hands-on application of UX research principles, methodologies, and best practices within a professional discipline (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods research)
Proven ability to assess unique or challenging user experience scenarios, applying sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to uncover root causes and generate actionable insights
Proficiency in leveraging technical skills for data analysis and manipulation, for advanced analysis, pattern identification, and visualization of complex research findings
A creative and adaptive approach to research, capable of developing novel solutions and suggesting varied approaches to complex UX problems
