This Data Engineer role is critical to bringing that vision to life, moving beyond theory to engineer the specific, robust data solutions that will power our most strategic projects and deliver measurable value.
Job Responsibility
Gather, process, and validate large data sets from multiple sources (SCADA, ERP, IoT, etc.)
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Perform data analysis, trend identification, and forecasting to support business initiatives
Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability within the data lake
Automate reporting workflows and create reusable data models
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, or related field
6+ years of experience in data analytics or BI
Strong skills in SQL, DAX, and Power BI/Tableau
Understanding of ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data governance principles
Experience in Python or R for advanced analytics preferred
Strong problem-solving and visualization skills
Nice to have
Certification in Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) or equivalent
Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and DataSphere
Experience in Oil & Gas performance and production analytics
