We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst III to join our team in Dieppe for a three-month temporary assignment. This role serves as a critical backfill within a collaborative, fast-paced team of five. You will be responsible for business-as-usual (BAU) operations, focusing on data reconciliation, ticketing, and the development of professional presentations for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a strong financial background and thrives in an environment where precision and communication are paramount.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate changes to databases, test programs, and implement necessary modifications to ensure data integrity
Execute complex reconciliations and manage month-end processes
Manage and process internal ticketing requests efficiently to meet departmental SLAs
Design and assemble high-quality PowerPoint decks and Excel reports for internal management
Work closely with the project team to determine project scope, estimate timelines, and implement security measures
Review project requests to ensure user needs are met and correct any system errors discovered during testing
Requirements:
Post-secondary degree in Computer Programming, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of professional experience in a data-centric or financial analyst role
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience with financial reconciliation and accounting principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Acute attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
