Job Description

The Data team at Lightyear is small, lean, and handles the entire end-to-end pipeline – from platform observability and ingestion to analytics engineering and governance. We are looking for a Growth Data Analyst to focus on expansion. You will be the strategic partner for our Marketing and Product teams, translating raw data into actionable growth loops. You’ll bridge the gap between complex datasets and commercial decisions, ensuring every Euro we spend and every feature we build is backed by evidence.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the analysis of the customer journey – from the first ad click to the first trade
  • Build the foundational frameworks for LTV, payback periods, and churn signals
  • Act as the lead for our attribution strategy
  • Develop data-driven workflows that empower our Marketing and Product teams
  • Apply rigorous analytics engineering standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in Growth, Marketing or Product domains
  • Comfortable owning projects from scratch
  • Expert in SQL and comfortable with Python for data analysis
  • Excited to work with dbt and Redshift
  • Comfortable writing complex SQL queries and explaining a cohort’s retention curve to a Marketing Specialist
  • Not a 'ticket-taker' – proactively investigates anomalies and presents fixes

What we offer

  • A competitive startup package with stock options that vest monthly after a one-year cliff
  • Brand new office in Tallinn (Kalamaja)
  • Flexible working hours
  • A flexible approach to working remotely
  • Private health insurance
  • All the usual office facilities, including free tea, coffee & snacks
  • Dog-friendly office
  • Bike parking and showers
