Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Data Analyst with extensive experience in inventory and billing systems. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and automation across client-facing platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data visualization, cross-platform integration, and operational analytics, with a strong understanding of IT service environments and tools such as ServiceNow, Aria/VROps, and Nagios.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze, validate, and maintain client inventory and billing data across multiple systems and platforms
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reports using Tableau and Excel to support client billing accuracy and inventory tracking
  • Automate recurring data processes and reporting workflows using Excel macros, Power BI, or Tableau scripting
  • Execute cross-platform queries and integrate APIs to consolidate data from disparate systems
  • Collaborate with client teams, IT operations, and finance to ensure data integrity and timely reporting
  • Respond to client inquiries and emails professionally within a 2-business-day SLA
  • Support ITIL-aligned service management processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Document data models, workflows, and reporting standards for internal and client-facing use

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis with a strong focus on client inventory and billing systems
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau data structures and dashboard development
  • Experience with Power BI and automation scripting
  • Proven ability to work with cross-platform queries and APIs
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service delivery environments
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Aria/VROps: Query development and data extraction for inventory and performance metrics
  • Nagios: API usage for monitoring and alert data analysis
